Yesterday, while i was waiting for a seminar to start at Marriott hotel, i went to Taman Selera since, i was 1 hour early. Actually, it supposed to start at 1.30pm but changed to 2.00pm. It's been long time that i went there so, i went to check things out. I heard there are going to have an upgrade there but, i was socked to see what happend there. There are upgrading the walk paths. But look the playground is just behind the mountain of soil. The playground is surrounded by it.
The walk path going to the public toilets. It's like a war zone in this park! The park looks so messy.
Look how near is the wave to the shore. It looked like the beach is almost gone and reaching the barrier. The barrier started to crack and tilted sideways, it looks like it is going to crumble. It used to have many sands. No Sands! = No Beach!
Further up i saw many trees beside the walk path cum barrier showing out their roots. It looks like the tree is going to fall down soon. When it falls, i think it will bring the whole walk path down with it.
I wonder if the sea level keeps rising all the upgrade is meaningless coz, there won't be any beach to see and all the walk path will be gone too, swallowed by the sea. If tsunami ever happens here we are doomed.
Wave erosion are made with the power of oceanic waves, large storm waves can produce 2000 pounds of pressure per square foot. The pure energy of waves along with the chemical content of the water is what erodes the rock of the coastline. Erosion of sand is much easier for the waves and sometimes, there's an annual cycle where sand is removed from a beach during one season, only to be returned by waves in another.

PC Fair In Miri
The PC Fair by Pikom have started since yesterday. I only went there this afternoon. There were many ppl there, i even drive around for few rounds before i can even find any parking space. In the end i found a spot beside the road just next to the stadium even though its not a parking space. I saw lots of good speakers & notebooks. The one who caught my eyes are the Toshiba laptops, its only around RM1699. Of course without OS only comes with Free Dos but, they provide Windows installation. The specs are Pentium Centrino, 1GB Ram free upgrade and with build in webcam. For that kind of price you can buy branded laptop its good enough. The cheapest branded laptop i ever saw.

Airport Security Sucks
The picture above are proof taken last time, shows why Airport Security Sucks. It shows the combination locks on our luggage bags which, both have been tempered with. Even the zip on the bags were broken before. We have lodged complains and the MAS employee help us to make the claim.
They help send to change the locks & zips. No wonder MAS loosing money because of the securities in the Airport Sucks they have to compasate the customers. The MAS employee told us that it can't be helped coz the ppl who control the baggage are airport employees. Why should we pay expensive "Airport Tax" when there is no security. They should install security cameras in the luggage room. It had happend to us before, expecially after International trip. Always the luggage delays when from KL - Kuching transit. By the time you reach Miri most of the time you will find its been tempered with. I think they aims for the big and expensive luggage to open.
Those pic shows the ppl who does this have no experience or they are in hurry. There is one time when i open my luggage i found out stuff & clothes have been moved or change position and felt something is wrong. Then i told my family about it & they check their luggage. They found out some of the things they brought are missing. That are the works of more experienced and professional ppl. I wonder the employees there even smuggle drugs by putting in some of the travellers bags and luggages. It just too scary to think what might happen when got caught red handed with drugs in your bags. Even we have made many reports before, it just keeps coming back. There is no improvement at all.
Last time, there is one case that many Laptops also got stolen. The latest case is the six robbers shootings of two moneychangers, two security guards, a businessman & a policeman in KLIA, there is CCTV but not turned on so the whole incident was unrecorded. I wonder if they put it there, is it for show. Wasting money to install but not using it. They should catch the insider who steals and send them to jail.

Bus Stop Or Burger Stall
Before the bus stop is complete, i tought it looked like a stall. It would be a good business if we modify the bus stop to become a burger stall. We can cut some cost building the roof or chair, coz its already built in. It a strategic location, since its just infront of highway and have a place for the customer park & queue their car while ordering take aways. The stall looks good right? LOL

Motorcycle Blocking Our Car
Just talking about motorcycle parking behind cars this morning. This afternoon around 4.10 pm a bike just parked behind our car. This is just the proof what i am just talking about. I wonder do they really want someone to knock down their bike when the car reverse, especially big cars can't even see the bike behind them. It also cause trouble to the driver who wants to go out.
Check Before Signing
Today a friend told me that, recently there is a company whose employee sign for the receiving goods without checking. They ordered 20 Laptops, one of the laptop is missing when they open one of the box for the customer to see.
It could be one of the sender who left one out or the shipping company's employee who stole it. Both the sender and shipping company wont accept the claim, because they have sign for the goods that they had received. The purpose of signing for the received goods is to make sure the goods have been send and received by the receiver in good condition.
As a reminder, next time please do remember to check carefully the goods that you receive before you sign anything.

Why Motorcycle Should Be Banned
Motorcycle should be banned because :
The rider never check their break lights.
The rider never see side mirror when turning.
The rider likes to ride in the middle of the road.
The rider likes to park their bike behind cars.
Most of the above can cause accident to other road users, even their own lives. The riders should know the law when they got their driving license, but never follows.
Now days it is even used for snatching purpose & to escape.
The latest problem is "Mat Rempit" a Malaysian term for an individual who participates in illegal street racing is mainly blame for most of the accident. They usually travel in groups and race in city center at night.
Mat Rempits have been linked to gangsterism, gang robbery, street fighting, vandalism, theft, bullying and rape. Many Mat Rempit do not even have valid motorcycle licenses, do not pay road taxes, and ride stolen motorcycles.
It can even cut down noise pollution without motorcycles around. :>
The only good thing is its cheap for the ppl who can't afford to buy a car and avoiding traffic jams.
My friend Ian recently witness and recorded the event of Mat Rempits wanna be doing dangerous act at one of the roundabout in Miri City. Video taken from "http://www.miriresortcity.com/blog/ian/".

Safety Net Thwarts Suicide
Today i read a newspaper saying a man trying to commit suicide at Genting Highlands yesterday. He was seen kicking open the window of the restaurant at Highland Hotel before jumping out at 9am. He crashed trough the rooftop of the Genting Skyway station and landed on the safety net under the cable car system. Stopped by the net, he sat on its edge for five hours. From 9.30am, fireman tried to coax him down. About five hours later, fireman persuaded him to give up his death wish and the police escorted him to the Kuala Kubu Baru Hospital at 3pm.
It's sad to see victims and their family member suffers because of loan sharks. Most of the time it can cause family to breakup and expecially lead to suicide.
God really loves him by giving him second chance to change and repent.
So ppl out there pls do not lend money from loan sharks. Think what it can do to you and your family.

Challenging JPJ
Just to share with you my real live experience seeing a driver caught by JPJ head on. It happened on the 23th Jan 2008 about 3.55 pm. It was when i'm about to enter my car i saw the green car driving on the opposite lane. Then i heard siren then saw the JPJ car driving the same lane as the green car. Bad luck for the lady the JPJ car is just infront of her car. So i take this photo with my Dopod D810 phone for a record to share with my friends.
God Gives
God answer prayers in three ways...
He says "Yes" and gives you what you want.
He says "No" and gives something better.
He says "Wait" and gives you the best.
Ask and you shall receive by God.
God always gives what's best for us.
You will receive based on the answer god give you.

Things You Find In Fast Food
It's scary what you can find in the food that you eat outside or tapaw. From all this years of eating out i have found ant, hair, bone, paper clip, pebble, caterpillar, small cockroach, plastic bits, egg shell, metal scrubber, etc... the rest still yet to be found.
The paper clip, metal scrubber bits can be very dangerous if swallowed. It can stuck in your throat or intestine which can cause internal bleeding. Those insect can act as extra suppliment unless its poisonous.
So becareful when eating your meal, look before you eat.

BigDog Quadruped Robot
"Boston Dynamics keeps working on their BigDog quadruped robot, which will probably grow to be the future AT-AT of the Pentagon".
Looks a bit like a smaller & faster version of AT-AT from Star Wars. The robot legs are smaller than the body & the back legs looks like walking straight but the front ones looks like walking backwards. What a weird looking robot, more like some kind of retarded beast.
Well at least its not as clumsy as the original AT-AT which is controlled by ppl.

The brand? 'Oral-Me'.
Yesterday, a News Strait Times article on a toothpaste sold at Kuala Trengganu hypermarket, said it has raised a few eyebrows as well drawing laughter at its brand name.
The product is a toothpaste manufactured by a Kulim, Kedah, based company.
Some ppl, felt the brand name carried sexual connotation and asking if the manufacturer understood the phrase while coining the brand name.
Its a funny to produce such brand name. I wonder if the company wants to attract younger customer. But then again better to use on a condom brand. Hehe...

In The Begining
Everyone starts their journey from somewhere. This is my first blog which tells the story about me, my life & things that is happening around me. I choose the name "Shadow" because i am like a shadow which changes form depends on the angle of light which is mysterious. Like a face behind a mask, hidden not exposing any feeling or expression like a joker, which is in our nature as an act of self defence or to blend in to survive.
