The PC Fair by Pikom have started since yesterday. I only went there this afternoon. There were many ppl there, i even drive around for few rounds before i can even find any parking space. In the end i found a spot beside the road just next to the stadium even though its not a parking space. I saw lots of good speakers & notebooks. The one who caught my eyes are the Toshiba laptops, its only around RM1699. Of course without OS only comes with Free Dos but, they provide Windows installation. The specs are Pentium Centrino, 1GB Ram free upgrade and with build in webcam. For that kind of price you can buy branded laptop its good enough. The cheapest branded laptop i ever saw.

The Toshiba laptop is cheap because it still runs on Centrino. Check the price on a Pentium Core2 Dual processor for Toshiba and compare the price.
New laptops should come with 2GB RAM now and Toshiba is a durable brand but I found out that they are always using an older version of Pentium processor compared to other brands. And the price is still as expensive as other newer models available.
Which is more worth it? You decide~
For most people, their pocket does the thinking. Therefore, the RM1.6K Toshiba wins!
Besides, portable computers nowadays are used as a presentation device and kept getting stolen. :P
i saw one HP so geng..2799 portable one..touch screen somemore but processor AMD..so rejected loh. and i bot a nice dell...and am really satisfied with the specs..with 2GB RAM and centrina core 2 duo..but without window..SWEAT..am buying a cd tml..ppl recommended XP leh..hmm..sobs!!!!!!!! tot can use tonite..sobs!!i bot it for 2499 only..no money bah..ehehhe...anyone wanna buy ASUS?? i jes bot last yr..am selling it now..LOL..nobody wan lah since 1k plus can get a new one liao..but i nid to find ppl to sell it too..sobs
That PC Fair is not that impressive for me. Hate to say that, but it's real for me.
I am still craving for Macbook. That's my only target.
